What You'll Do:
Involved in the design and implementation of automation platforms and standardization, automation system programming standards, and automation software validation procedures.
Communicates directly with management and integrators or vendors.
Involved and assist in keeping records on installed base, upgrade rollouts, version control, maintenance, and planned obsolescence.
Stays current on advancements in automation.
Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information.
Develops his own personal growth opportunities.
Who You Are:
Educated in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
Experience of working in a project-based organization
A demonstrated understanding of process controls
An understanding of industrial automation software/hardware architectures.
Experience in developing/designing PLC programs such as Rockwell Allen Bradley, Siemens S7 or similar controllers.
Experience in configuring/designing SCADA programs such as Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Emerson Delta-V or similar platforms.
Experience in drafting design specifications documentation (URS, FS, SDS etc.).
A demonstrated understanding of industrial networks and general networking concepts.
Experience of working in regulated environments or with systems designed for use in regulated environments .
Ability to use and apply facts, data and use analytical tools.
The following would be an advantage:
Experience of DCS solutions such as Siemens PCS 7 or Rockwell PlantPax.
Experience with regulations and guidelines related to automated systems in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. GAMP 5, 21 CFR part 11 etc.).
Experience with industrial panel hardware and electrical design.
Experience in high-level scripting languages, relational / time-series database.
