Founded in 1996, Ubisoft Annecy has developed many sagas, especially on Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed®, while focusing on multiplayer online and social aspects, and also on concrete game mandates such as Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2® and Ghost Recon Wildlands. We are now proud to have developed our own IP, Steep and more recently Riders Republic!

More recently, we are working on innovation with the creation of a technological expertise hub around the Snowdrop engine pipeline, for which we are focusing firstly on engine and graphics topics.

Job Description

As part of Ubisoft production studio in Annecy, you will participate in the creation of one of our brands. You will be defining and implementing the marketing strategy of this brand.

In collaboration with global publishing teams, you develop and facilitate the operational execution of the marketing strategy of the game throughout its lifecycle (from conception to post launch). You ensure that developments meet consumer expectations.

Your main objectives will be to:

  • Define the game positioning through market analysis (trends, competitive benchmark, strategic industry stakes) , with a strong focus on target audience definition (consumer studies, community workshops ) and the game’s key success factors.
  • As a key stakeholder of the brand's success, in collaboration with the production team, you will support all different stages of development to ensure marketing choices translate into the elements of the game: universe, characters, game events, etc.to make game content and brand overall strategy consistent with each other.
  • You will collaborate with a team of marketing artists to produce the main communication assets (styleguide, logos, trailers, demos, screenshots ...) that support the brand marketing strategy.
  • As the main marketing point of contact in the production team, you will be in charge of driving global publishing teams and contribute to operational marketing campaigns worldwide.
  • You will coordinate different job families in charge of player and consumer relationships: playtests, community developer, consumer studies.
Qualifications

From an higher education, you have several years of experience in Brand Marketing, ideally in the Entertainment industry and / or consumer goods.

  • With strong leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit, you are the champion of the brand internally and externally. With strong communication skills, you are organized with a strong sense of initiative, you are used to working with creative profiles.
  • You have solid analytical skills, a clear understanding of information (playtests and community feedback, consumer tests, benchmark…) and your data driven approach enables you to build relevant marketing strategies.
  • You have high interest for innovation and in the video game industry or technology-intensive services.
  • Great teamplayer, you are used to working within a complex organizational structures and an international framework.
  • A fluent English (written and spoken) is required. French is a plus.
