Position at Wavemaker

In this new position, you will be supervising, coordinating and managing the programmatic campaigns across France, Belgium and Netherlands (Western European Hub - WEH) for all the brands of one of our international clients, a well-known CPG company. Beyond your subject-matter expert responsibilities, you will be responsible for one of the group’s brands for the French market as an account manager.

About the Role

As the Account Manager for one of the strategic brands of the group, you will be responsible for the creation 360 degrees strategies for your client and managing the day-to-day client relationship.

You will also develop programmatic campaigns that are best integrated into local media strategy and aligned with central directives in collaboration with the local Wavemaker teams in charge of the brands strategy, and the central and activation teams,

You will be the first point of contact of the client regarding all programmatic related topics for the 3 countries. An opportunity to work with multicultural teams and interact with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Account management - 30%
    1. Orchestrate the creation of online and offline media strategies based on your client’s briefs (global strategy and investment strategy on the different media)
    2. Present and defend your media recommendations to the client (French-English)
    3. Perform qualitative and quantitative competitive analyzes (monitoring of media investments and communication strategy)
    4. Coordinate and manage relations with internal media experts, both locally and internationally (Hub / Global)
    5. Contribute to the development of reporting tools: dashboard, analysis, studies, etc.
  • Programmatic management – 70%

Strategic leadership

  1. Subject Matter Expert on programmatic topics for the Hub, sharing thought leadership and strategic recommendations to fulfil your clients’ business and media objectives.
  2. Identify test & learn opportunities and measurement plan
  3. Responsible for the implementation of the Programmatic Maturity Roadmap and scorecard progress.
  4. Contribute to building the annual partnerships roadmaps with key partners (Google, Amazon)

Campaign management

  1. Brief the programmatic activation team with local market specificities to consider (audiences/publishers)
  2. Ensure that the plans created by the activation team are aligned with the brief and the directives/frameworks provided by the central team
  3. Support the activation team in analysing campaign performance and insights
  4. Work on improving synergies & integration with other media/digital activities
  5. Ensure invoicing process is adhered to and managed effectively.

Who you are

  • Digital native with minimum 5 years’ experience, ideally in programmatic planning and buying (agency or saleshouse)
  • Good understanding of international environment
  • You have extensive knowledge of display programmatic and the adtech environment
  • Flexible, you are able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Naturally curious, you follow media and data market evolutions with interest
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to work under tight timelines
  • Strong presentation skills, both internally and with clients
  • Team spirit, dynamic and voluntary
  • English fluent (written / oral)
  • Comfortable with office pack (excel, powerpoint)
