 1. Promptly answer concerns and queries from selected accredited providers calling for assistance in providing medical service to AXA customers availing in their facility.
2. Accurately determines if a medical condition is a covered benefit based on the policy provisions, terms, and conditions.
3. Be able to adjudicate/pre-approve claims in accordance with the different processes within the assigned authority limit and escalate to the next level approver if necessary.
4. Constant coordination with the network provider for the issuance of the LOG.
5. Accurately documents claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes based on standard processes.
6. Escalate cases to the immediate superior as necessary and follow the health claims business claims guidelines and procedures.
7. Provide exceptional service and ensure a seamless customer experience by meeting defined customer experience targets.
8. Provide backup for any support functions in the office.
9. Accomplish tasks that may be assigned by his/her manager on an ad hoc basis.
10. Accomplishes company goals by taking ownership of work responsibilities and constantly identifying opportunities for work process improvement.
11. Ensure legal compliance by following company policies, procedures, and guidelines ad well as local insurance regulations and statutes.
12. Adhere to strict data protection compliance by keeping claims and sensitive medical information highly confidential.

 

 


Your Profile
  1. Candidate must have a Bachelor's/College Degree. Medical background is highly preferred. Health claims / HMO and insurance work experience is considered to be more relevant.
  2. Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in adjudicating health claims or relevant experience.
  3. Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate health product terms and conditions as well as the reason for claims decision.
  4. Call center and customer service-related work experience is an advantage.
  5. Above-average working knowledge of insurance operational processes.
  6. Customer-centric and must advocate the Customer First mindset.
  7. Highly developed sense of integrity
  8. Pleasant, patient and friendly attitude; sociable personality
  9. Detail oriented, highly organized, and possesses problem solving skills
  10. Excellent and strong negotiation and influencing skills.
