The Sr. Analyst, Tax and Tax Transformation for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for preparing and maintaining tax records, returns, reports and other related materials. You will also develop and implement a tax strategy including ways to minimize tax liability and alleviate or reduce tax burden.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build various technology enablement projects within the tax department to increase efficiencies in tax processes.
- Build and maintain tax automations and system solutions using tools like Office Script, VBA, Alteryx, MS Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Automate).
- Work within ERP systems, proprietary systems, and large datasets.
- Support Senior Manager, Global Tax with preparation of US-International Tax Compliance, Transfer Price and other special projects.
- Support Senior Tax Manager with audits by providing workpapers and responses.
- Lead tax process improvements projects, which may include software implementation, automation, or workpaper improvements.
- Analyze cross-function border activities to determine whether there is tax exposure.
- Maintain US and foreign tax payments and support cash tax forecast.
- Will work cross-functionally with other departments to support process improvements through technological and innovation solutions.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
- Minimum 4 to 8 years related experience.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and tax processing software, Alteryx, MS Power Platform suite (Power BI/Power Query/Power Automate), OBIEE a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experienced with process improvement and process automation.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with strict time constraints.
- Strong communication, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and produce high-quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be able to build excellent working relationships with operating company and country finance managers, advisors, auditors as well as Danaher corporate tax, treasury, and finance colleagues.
