The network entity aims to renew Group Network, securing it and making it a performant and reliable road for all Group’s data.
The Senior Project Manager has the key mission to identify simplification actions in the organization to improve the scalability of our products and in a second time to drive the implementation of those actions through the Group.
He/she will have the following responsibilities under scope:
Preparing Steering Committee with stakeholders
Liaise with entities and professional families SPOC (Single Point of Contact)
Identify, revamp and produce reusable guidelines and toolkits with Group experts to support entities and group department
Track and provide report on the implementation
Carry out relevant investigations and studies to provide insight to decision makers
Mission and activities
Contribute to Group Services development by supporting programs and projects managers to run
projects/ programs and enable them to meet their objectives.
For a range of projects / programs, the PMO supports the project manager on planning & budget management, strengthens the data and supplies the indicators, to provide methodological support to the project /program managers.
He / She helps them in the operational implementation of the processes on their projects.
He / She also assists on teams’ coordination and on internal / external communication.
With a higher seniority level, PMOs can coach or mentor project managers on Group Services /
Project Management best practices.
Main activities:
Become the right-hand person for the program director including challenging them to track and manage issues, actions, risks, etc.
Raise the quality and standards for the entity and stakeholder engagement via reporting, tracking, communications, etc.
Set standards and templates for how projects are run (planning, budget, resources management, reporting, governance...), and ensure they are followed / regularly improved
Assist / prepare the Project Committees (planning, documentation...), proposing strategic challenges
Set up the project management tools
Manage and facilitate the project portfolio and the resource capacity (capturing project requests/implementing scoring and prioritization models to support assessment of the requests / managing a resource capacity plan)
Maintain/update/centralize the processes, to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete
Gather and deliver project data information to executives and stakeholders (based on updates from the project managers), including consolidating budget
Set up the reporting and raise the open issues / alerts. Follow of the changes decided to solve the issues,
Organize and prepare the overall governance
Provide support, guidance and advice for project managers (including methodological support)
Focus on continuous improvement of processes
Share lessons learned and best practices across programs and projects
Experience of managing large global transformation programs and diverse team
