Application Scientist

Proclinical are partnering with a biotech organisation who are currently recruiting for an individual to join their team. This role is on a permanent basis. The opening position available is for an Application Scientist.

Responsibilities:

• Support the clients using the internal software by working alongside the team of engineers, data scientists, medicinal chemists, business developers, and data scientists at the Paris location.
• Collaborate with internal business development team members to find and serve clients for the platform's offerings and goods.
• Guarantee that clients have access to the most recent version of the platform documentation.
• Organised client meetings in a proactive manner to assure that they are utilising the technology suitably.
• Find novel ways to involve the customer to adopt the programme and be able to see the obstacles from the perspective of the end user.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a medicinal or organic chemistry, or a closely linked field.
• Prompt on using the platform to implement and learn algorithmic-derived compound designs.
• Competent in retrosynthetic analysis to efficiently form routes an engage with clients using their internal platform.
• Interpersonal abilities with the capacity to engage and discuss with clients and partners as well as internal colleagues.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: docking, ligand-based drug design, and chemoinformatics.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Expertise on Artificial Intelligence and comprehension of the drug discovery process would be beneficial.
• Abilities in python programming with acquaintance in computer-aided drug design would be advantageous.
• Willing to travel for business needs.
