EXPECTED PROFILE

Candidates' research projects will be in the field of Signal Processing in the broadest sense. Applications related to fundamental research in the fields of signal theory, information theory, systems identification or optimisation will be welcome. In terms of applications, expertise in areas such as statistical models for secure communications and intelligent sensors would be appreciated.

The applicant's research activities will be part of the IMT's Industry of the Future Flagship Research Area, the European Smart Network and Services (SNS) partnership, and the Interdisciplinary Centres of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). The future recruted colleague will be called upon to participate in responses to national and European calls for projects, as well as setting up academic and industrial collaborations.

The future recruted colleague will be responsible for teaching signal processing, digital communications, statistics and probability, in undergraduate and specialised courses, for the school's various teaching programmes (engineering programme, apprenticeship engineering training, Masters, etc.). He or she will be involved in supervising student projects and doctoral theses. He or she will be responsible for teaching M2-level courses in his or her area of expertise.

The recruted colleague will work in either the "Information, Communication and Electronics" or "Mathematics" departments at IP Paris.

  • Publications in ranked international journals and conferences
  • Teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level
