Business Analyst

AXA – Global Healthcare has embarked on an ambitious transformation programme across a wide range of business portfolios and IT technologies, to help us get even better at what we do.  As a consequence, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team in Tunbridge Wells on a full-time permanent basis.   

As a Business Analyst your role is to help AXA – Global Healthcare to take informed decisions about the way ahead.  You’ll work with stakeholders at every level to understand what each initiative is trying to achieve, document and prioritise requirements and produce the artefacts that will enable our leadership team to decide how to proceed.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Providing consultancy to all levels of the organisation and building strong relationships to bring about decisions that are based on a shared understanding of objectives and priorities.
• Performing analysis on business initiatives to establish and document clear business requirements to support solution delivery and enable deliver capability.
• Understanding business issues and opportunities by analysing and documenting current and future operating models.
• Using your understanding of customer value chains, segments and journeys and applying user experience principles to ensure that our customers are at the centre of everything we do.
• Contributing to the definition and planning of portfolio initiatives that define a backlog of, and roadmap for change, based on value and alignment to business and technical strategy.
• Identifying dependencies and synergies across projects, programmes or releases to ensure that we deliver change to our customers in the most effective way.
• A restless drive to be the best at what you do and an openness to new ways of thinking that will help you and everyone around you stay at the top of their game.

What we’re looking for: 

• Previous relevant business analysis experience supported by ISEB or other appropriate qualification.
• Experience of analysing change in a complex organisation, using a mix of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods.
• Good understanding of the regulatory environment that underpins a Financial Services business.
• People skills to build great relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Expertise in facilitation, influencing, coaching and presentation.
• Openness to ideas and concepts presented by others.
• Courage to challenge constructively and see the ‘big picture’.
• Comfort working with high levels of ambiguity where business objectives and requirements may not be well-defined.
