About the Role


We're seeking an enthusiastic Community/Event Coordinator Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with 0 to 3 years of experience passionate about coordinating impactful online events, engaging with our diverse community, and contributing to our growth during this exciting phase.


Responsibilities:


On event creation and coordination:

  • Plan and execute events aligned with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with speakers, manage schedules, and oversee event logistics.
  • Utilize online platforms (Zoom, Teams) for event moderation.
  • Develop sponsorship proposals and engage potential sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for event promotion.


On Community creation and engagement:

  • Foster engagement and growth within our online communities.
  • Work alongside community leaders to animate discussions and initiatives.
  • Gather and act on user feedback to enhance community experience.


Competencies and Skills:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude, ready to tackle tasks of all sizes.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • A deep understanding of community building and user engagement.


A Typical Week:

  • 20% reaching out to speakers and sponsors.
  • 30% planning and coordinating events.
  • 40% managing and engaging the community.
  • 10% brainstorming and reporting with the team.


General Requirements:

  • Passion for Hubbers' mission and sustainable innovation.
  • Strong organizational skills and deadline adherence.
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Relevant educational background preferred (Master's degree/MBA in management/communication or related domain).
  • Language Requirements: Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential, along with fluency in another major European language.


Compensation:

  • EUR 800/month for the first 3 months, EUR 1000/month for the remaining period.
  • Succesful internship coudl lead to a full-time role.


You'll collaborate closely with the Founder, Global Event Manager, Community Leaders, and Ambassadors, contributing to a culture of innovation and sustainability. This role offers invaluable experience in event management, community engagement, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing global community.
