Work as PLCexpert on a cross-functional team with a diverse skillset in SCADA,integration, and scripting
Update andimprove HMI for complex machinery to be used by operators and maintenance
TroubleshootPLC and robot related production issues, including reviewing code, databaseinterfaces, and connection issues to Tesla’s production system
Make codechanges to PLC’s and/or robots for new products and processes
Developmaintenance documentation and training for first line equipment troubleshooting
Lead continuousimprovement of automated equipment to improve key metrics: safety, quality,productivity, and cost
Be motivated tolearn about new products, learn new skills, ambitious to learn about theproducts and process, willing to step outside of the role to help the team
Be flexible andcollaborative, willing to work in fast paced product and technology factory,and curious about technology
Work withengineering drawings by modifying and reading schematics

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Controls System, or Manufacturing Engineering field, relevant experience and evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent
3+ years’experience in PLC programming
3+ years’experience with robotics
Experience withpython or similar programming language
Strong understandingof ladder logic, structured text, communication protocols
Strong understandingof common PLC components such as various types of sensors, conveyors, networkswitches, power supplies, HV Parker panels
Demonstrated abilityto troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis
