Digital Solution Engineering Specialist

As a Digital Solution Engineering Specialist for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating development, implementation and successful on-boarding of Digital Solutions, adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment together with its operations and maintenance.

Operations Manager

Your responsibilities

• Demonstrating reasonable proficiency in software engineering in their own area of competence
• Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in assigned area of software development / software quality engineering / software testing / DevOPS / cyber security / software release / support and maintenance / release management with limited supervision
• Contributing to the software product roadmap and portfolio by suggesting new features, functionality and variants
• Participating along with sales to identify the customer’s needs to demonstrate and articulate the features of the Digital Solution and how it is best suited for the customer needs
• Participating in the assigned stages of the end-to-end customer lifecycle covering digital opportunity identification along with sales, opportunity qualification, discovery and value engineering, solution blueprinting, PoC / Pilot, solution deployment and post go-live operations / support
• Participating in ideation workstreams from identifying needs to validated and defined development together with cross functional teams of Digital software engineers, User Experience and subject matter experts for Value Creation
• Collaborating with sales, product management, solution architects and development teams for future planning, feature development, and support of product deliverables
• Participating in coaching customers for them to effectively utilize Digital Solutions

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in engineering or Science
• At least 5 years+ working experience, Minimum 3 years in Digital Solutions business
• Technical proficiency in Digital Solutions engineering; Knowledge and skills in Product management and project management is a plus; Requires good soft skills, i.e. communication, presentation etc.
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Proactive and Learning altitude; Open Minded
