The ideal candidate will provide critical leadership in developing new and optimizing global FP&A processes.  This role will work directly with the business units and corporate teams to support the creation of guidelines, processes, and templates for our day-to-day planning and performance management processes and compilation of consolidated results. In addition, this person would lead the development of scalable reporting solutions and capabilities to increase the organization's efficiency.

This position is part of the Pall Global FP&A Department within Pall’s Finance function and reports to the Vice President of FP&A.  The position will be located in Port Washington, New York.   

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development of key financial and operational metrics/dashboards, tools, and processes to enhance analytical capabilities and increase the efficiency of day-to-day activities, aiming to increase the time available to partner with organizations to optimize business performance and reduce the time spent reporting (40%)
  • Continue to enhance and develop global business unit forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, including preparation of templates and optimization of processes to compile information for consolidated reporting (20%)
  • Support the optimization of the monthly forecast and results compilation processes for the CFO, CEO, and parent company, providing timely, clear, and concise insight into the financial performance of the organization, opportunities, and risks (15%)
  • Support the revamping of the functional forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering processes to provide insight into financial results better and support the efficient deployment of costs to meet strategic objectives (15%)
  • Create processes to prepare and analyze financial trends impacting the business, including external competitor, market, and cost benchmarking (10%)

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with ~10-15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles with at least one role at the director level or higher
  • In-depth understanding of business finances and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow)
  • Experience with P&L, working capital and cash flow management, planning, and financial systems
  • Experience deploying solutions to solve large, complex organizational problems
  • Experience leading and developing a high-performing team
  • Work safely and comply with the company’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Experience with manufacturing and operating in a large global organization (preferred)
