Description de l'emploi

There is a vacancy for a doctor-assistant in the Geomatics research group of the Department of Civil Engineering of KU Leuven.

The Geomatics/Surveying section of the department of Civil Engineering is located on the KU Leuven Ghent Campus. The research in this group focuses on surveying and industrial aspects of geomatics (the science of recording, storing, representing, processing, analyzing and presenting geographical information). The research is primarily focused on modern 3D surveying techniques, the combination of active and passive measuring techniques and the interpretation of the recorded data (point clouds and images) for various applications within the construction sector. Recently a new research line has started focusing on using Remote Sensing data to interpret the built environment.
