Energy Global Commodity Manager F/H

Safran Purchasing is in charge of shared purchasing for the entire Group: this concerns non-production purchases. Safran Purchasing leads the deployment of Target Purchasing Policies on behalf of the Group by carrying out all the actions necessary for the proper execution of the Services. Safran Group has placed the need to reduce its carbon footprint at the top of its objectives.
As part of our development, the Construction-Infrastructure-Facility Management–Energy Purchasing Direction is therefore required to change and reinforced its Energy purchasing structure. The position of Energy Global Commodity Manager will handle the following missions, directly for French/European Safran's sites & will coordinate similar international actions handled by Energy Country Managers :
• Develop Global Group Purchasing policies for his/her segments segments of responsibility built on draft provided by each Energy Country Commodity Managers and his own French/European Energy Commodity.
• Animate, support and approve Energy Country Commodity Managers in their countries specific Energy Purchasing policies elaboration
• Coordinate the Energy Country Commodity Managers international network
• Ensure, at a corporate level, consolidation of all strategic and operational data raised by each Energy Country Commodity Manager
• Ensure mapping of the energy landscape (market structure, rates making, production mix, decarbonization trends)
• Ensure monitoring of areas trends which could impact sites' expenses and/or decabonization projects
• Ensure monitoring of all new regulations or subsidy programs which could impact Safran's sites worldwide.
• Contract management of energy supply agreements
• Ensure direct or coordinated RFI/RFQ management for all new needs related to energy supply and renewable project
• Ensure contract negotiation for the French/European scope and support to similar international actions handled by Energy Country Commodity Managers
• Ensure direct or coordinated monitoring and reporting of Safran's sites expenses worldwide.
• Ensure fulfillment of all applicable tools

• Writing and relational qualities
• Written and oral English : a good level is expected
• First purchasing experience is essential
• Knowledge of energy markets is a plus
• Organized, methodical and rigorous in data management
• Ability to understand technical subjects
