Description du poste :

In order to strengthen our team and to continue the successful operation of a well established event, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated allrounder Event & Marketing Manager (he/she) with a proven track of experience/success. He/she will assume the overall responsibility of the event from A to Z.

The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for:

- Sourcing and negotiating with potential venue (done for 2023)

- Sourcing, negotiating and management of required (local) suppliers (such as AV partner, print, web hoster, app provider etc.)

- Smooth on-site operation (incl. coordination with all local suppliers, link with hotel operations etc.)

- Coordination/execution of any marketing activities, incl. mailings and social media

- Website design and design of app content

- Relationship management with partners (media, event sponsors, speakers, attendees, tourism office etc.)

- Internal coordination with team members

A high degree of autonomy and rigorous work approach will be required. The retained candidate will report directly to the Managing Director.

Profil recherch? :

Required qualifications/skills:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Min. 3 years' of successful event management experience with a high level of responsibility

- Experience to work/live in a multi-cultural environment

- Strong self-motivation and highly structured personality

- Good communication skills (incl. on the phone)

- Full written and oral proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an additional advantage

- Familiarity with standard IT programs (MS Office etc.), marketing-specific tools (such as Adobe CS, e-mailing tools etc.) and collaborative tools (e.g. Asana)

- Marketing expertise in design, incl. creation of visuals etc.

- Knowledge in website programming/design (CMS)

- Ability to manage pressure and situations of high stress

- Match of personality to the existing team

- Familiarity with the travel industry is a plus

While we are based in Toulouse/France, the work can be conducted remotely without a need for relocation if desired, but local candidates are preferred.
