AXA has launched in 2020 a strategic partnership with Microsoft to build the Digital Healthcare Platform (DHP) which aims at interconnecting healthcare services to enable hassle-free & personalized customer / patient journeys, leveraging AI and new standards on health data interoperability. DHP (now named Healthanea) is an open platform meant to revolutionize the way people are accessing health services. It will support a healthcare ecosystem at European level in a 1st step, beyond AXA entities, and even more globally in the future. This is a strategic initiative supported at the highest level of AXA & Microsoft Groups, as the following video from both CEOs (Thomas Buberl and Satya Nadella)is demonstrating. 

After almost 2 years as an AXA internal program, the new development phase of DHP aims at deploying a new standalone business materialized through the creation of an independent legal entity part of AXA Group serving both internal and external partners (e.g pharmas, private hospitals etc.) and a brand “Healthanea”.

Main Responsibilities

The candidate will be instrumental in the design of Healthanea business model and monetization pathway, in the building of its financial processes and in the implementation of the right monitoring and decision making tools. He/she will play a key role in supporting the company in its growth journey and towards  long term profitability.

Reporting to the CFO and General Secretary of Healthanea:

  • He/She builds Healthanea’s financial processes. It could be as varied as implementing dashboards to monitor Healthanea business or implementing a robust cash collection process.
  • He/She leads and organises the business plan, budget, forecast and actual reporting processes in close collaboration with Healthanea management team. He/She prepares the quarterly financial update to the Board of Directors of Healthanea.
  • He/She is in charge of monitoring the overall investment and expenses budget at a granular level, working closely with AXA GO and GIE finance teams and with Healthanea operational teams.
  • He/She leads with Microsoft Program Manager the financial monitoring of the investments of both partners into the project as per the cooperation agreement.
  • He /She supervises the external accounting firm dealing with the Company accounting and liaises with the auditors.
  • He/She monitors the cash of the company.
  • He/She updates the costing methodology and implements the pricing grid of Healthanea products, working closely with the Sales and product teams, with a Business Partner mindset. He is involved in shaping the financial proposals for the prospects.
  • Depending on his or her proficiency in modelling, he/she undertakes adhoc modelling and analysis with the Tech teams, supporting notably them in the modelling of the Cloud costs, in liaison with Microsoft teams.
  • He/She is enthusiastic about taking on new projects in the context of a fast-developing business and on exploring new topics (eg formulating the business case of a product for a client etc)
  • He/She manages an apprentice who supports him/her on the daily tasks.


Votre Profil
  • At least 5 years of professional experience including a significant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, controlling etc
  • Mastering Financial Planning and Analysis key competencies : budgeting, forecasting, actuals closing (revenues and expenses); awareness of fundamental accounting principles and basic tax concepts; knowledge of basic management accounting technics; experience in preparing business plans: demonstrated excel modelling skills would be a plus.
  • PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong capacity as a facilitator across all departments and at all hierarchical levels.
  • Strong interest in Tech industry and in innovation. An interest in Healthcare would be a plus.
  • Thriving in complex, multi stakeholders, fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self starter and proactive.
  • Rigorous and organised.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate (in written and verbal) in English.
  • Travel could be required from time to time but would be minimal.
