You will work at the head office of the Sodexo group, located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, accessible from Paris by RER C, Tram T2 from La Défense and Porte de Versailles or metro line 12.
CONTEXT
Reporting to the Head of Tax – APMEA, Transfer Pricing and Global Functions within the Group Tax Department, the International Tax Specialist and Global Functions contributes to the implementation of the Group's tax policy and more particularly to the support of global functions of the Group, in particular those in charge of purchasing, major international accounts, growth and commercial development, branding, marketing, human resources, technology and data.
She/He assists these functions and advises them on various subjects of French and international direct and indirect taxation, identifies and limits potential risks, and develops any line of thought contributing to the good management of the group's tax burden and the improvement processes.
She/he may also be called upon to work on any cross-functional subject, particularly on M&A projects, either with other tax specialists based in France (9 people plus an intern and an apprentice), or with the tax teams abroad in the group's main countries of operation.
MISSIONS
The mission of the International Tax Specialist and global functions is to:
- Advise the Group's global functions on all French but especially international tax aspects of their activities and development or transformation projects:
_ the Purchasing Department,
_ the Department dedicated to major international clients,
_ the Department of growth and commercial development, branding, marketing,o the Human Resources Department, particularly on questions of international mobility of employees,
_ the Department in charge of strategy and new catering modelso and the IS&T and Digital Department.
- Analyze the group's international contracts linked to major international clients and global suppliers from a tax perspective and propose solutions to protect the group's interests;
- Write position notes, guides or ready-to-use recommendations for subsidiaries on tax issues for global functions and make them available via the tax department's communication tools (intranet, yammer, etc.)
- Organize the collection of supporting documentation for the services provided to the subsidiaries by the global functions in order to make it available to the Group's subsidiaries;- Provide support to other tax specialists on M&A operations;
- More generally intervene on any subject linked to the proper management of the group's tax burden (effective tax rate, cash tax), the monitoring of tax positions and the improvement of processes,
- Actively participate in the various cross-functional working groups and technical monitoring within the tax department.

PROFILE
- Master 2 / DJCE in taxation or a diploma from a business school with a specialization in taxation
- 3 to 5 years of successful experience in the tax department of an international group or within the tax practice of a law firm
- Curious, must know how to communicate in a very international and multicultural environment and have excellent interpersonal skills in order to obtain and transmit the information necessary for their activity
- Comfortable with the legal analysis of contracts and the drafting of tax clauses
- Driven by an excellent spirit of service and knows how to consider his interlocutors as real customersIs driven by a spirit of progress and knows how to demonstrate conviction
- Very good command of English (written and oral)
