Within the subsidiary Advanced Accelerator Applications, specialized in radioligands manufacturing imaging products (Molecular Imaging)
This role is envisaged to lead HSE for France platform and bring coordination across European manufacturing sites (13#). Aim is to establish, sustain and continually improve the HSE and Radiation Safety program across 13# manufacturing sites and new sites being established to ensure zero harm to people fully meeting the legal requirements and industry practices.
Your responsibilities will be (not limited to this list) :
 Act as Country HSE Lead for France organization unit, reporting into Country Manufacturing Head and functionally to MI Head Technical Operations for EU HSE coordination role
 Global Coordination of HSE and Radiation Safety across 13# locations in France and Europe ;
 Coordinate the HSE by Design for all expansion and new manufacturing sites capital investments with respective projects ;
 Lead the implementation of HSE Management System - policy, guidelines, handbook which spell out requirements on various HSE topics, programs for risks identification, risks management in timely manner. Escalation and communication to relevant stakeholders ;
 Establish Governance structure across the organization to define KPI and goals to make sustainable HSE and Radiation safety approach to bring value to the company ;
 Perform HSE and Radiation Safety inspections across the organization and share feedback with relevant stakeholders ;
 Prepare Monthly Information Management System (MIS) for business review based on agreed KPI's and Goals agreed at the start of year - site level and global coordination ;
 Work in close coordination with Country Manufacturing Head, Country Engineering Manager to ensure HSE and Radiation safety responsibilities are fully complied based on local regulations and Novartis HSE requirements ;
 Conduct training program to build awareness among the sites head and support them on implementing tools and complete the safety actions on site ;
 Ensure - clear identification of HSE and Radiation safety regulations in each country together with Country Manufacturing Head and Site HSE Coordinator using ENHESA database , perform gap assessment in timely manner and escalate, prepare and review site or Country HSE Legal Register each quarter, share the outcomes with relevant stakeholders for necessary decisions and next steps ;
 Lead the HSE and Radiation Safety Risk Assessment method for various routine and non-routine operations, projects, change request or management of changes across sites using Novartis or approved risk assessment and mitigations methodologies ;
 Establish and manage Communication HSE Plan for HSE and Radiation Safety Programs and goals / activities during the year - with relevant stakeholders / internal and external to site and global stakeholders ;
 Work with Local Government approved or notified countries 'approved consultant' for HSE and Radiation Safety topics to work closely with each site in respective country ;
 Stakeholders a) Novartis TechOps HSE Business Partner b) Novartis TechOps Radiation Safety Experts c) Local Country HSE and Radiation Safety Authority.
 Location : based in France - one of the manufacturing site ;
 Scope : Involves work from home and travelling across 13# sites in EU ;
 Impact : 1 to 5 Million USD direct and indirect impact on business (based on role profile of the candidate ) ;

Demande

Qualifications :
o Engineering degree, preferably in Health and safety or Nuclear sector ;
o Registered Safety Officer or NEBOSH Diploma in Safety Management ;
o Work experience : 3-5 years as HSE Lead for manufacturing company or organization especially prefer pharmaceutical industry ;
