You will manage Purchasing activities (Supply base / Projects) and team (hierarchically and/or functionally) in their scope of responsibility in the context of the Global Purchasing organization.

 

What will be your responsabilities?

  • Responsible, globally, for assigned categories / projects to define and implement the global Purchasing strategies across the Company by coordinating the network of category managers and buyers associated with the categories/projects.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers/Buyers to define and implement the category / projects strategies within their responsibility and is accountable for ensuring that any local activity is conducted in accordance with the category / project strategies.
  • Ensure that all project requirements are taken into consideration in the definition of Purchasing strategies and drive the implementation of the Purchasing strategies at the Core Team level.
  • Accountable for the optimization (Quality, Cost, Service, Risk, Innovation, CSR) of the Supply base/Projects in the assigned area of responsibility while engaging in the continuous improvement process.
  • Develop and evaluate the competencies of their resources on a regular basis.

 

Who are you?

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Purchasing
  • 8 to 10 years of purchasing experience in various categories, with 5 years of managerial experience in a multi-cultural industrial environment.
