Partner with the best
As the HSE Site Manager, you will be responsible for creating the strategy to eliminate risk, reduce emission, ensure HSE regulatory compliance and enhance the HSE culture.
 

As the HSE Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting HSE product line; implementation of strategy and tactics to meet HSE expectations through programs, risk mitigation projects, communication, and training
  • Implementing HSE priorities, metrics, goals, and requirements to complete the integration process and operational ownership of EHS
  • Introducing and firmly establishing programs, tools, and training to ensure compliance with legal requirements, implementation of Baker Hughes HSE Management System
  • Coordinating/conducting compliance audits/reviews of site work areas and coach personnel on identified improvement opportunities and closure of findings/recommendations
  • Providing leadership and guidance in excellence certification, including introduction or maintenance of OSHA VPP, ISO14001, OSHAS 18001 or ISO 45001 programs
  • Coordinating/collaborating with other functional leaders and people leaders ensuring expeditious and sustainable program implementation with continuous improvement
  • Liaising with internal and external HSE professionals and regulators and ensure audit protection privilege is instituted where & when appropriate
  • Providing technical expertise and compliance support to HSE professionals, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and practices, and assist in responding to significant incidents and government requests/notices
  • Developing, preparing and presenting regular updates to facility leadership on key HSE performance indicators
  • Serving as HSE technical expert for process hazard analyses, management of change, incident investigation, emergency planning, and response


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in health and safety, environmental science, chemistry, engineering or other relevant field
  • Have 7+ years in a manufacturing / industrial environment
  • Have 5+ years in a management role
  • Possess experience in HSE management systems
  • Have excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, team building and influencing skills
  • Have an understanding of safety regulations and regulatory process; the ability to research, analyze, interpret and implement HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Possess experience in root cause investigation techniques
