What you can look forward to Development, deployment and maintenance of data center storage area networks (SAN) for high-availability IT services (Brocade, Cisco, Nvidia) Integration of new hardware in consultation with internal and external interfaces in compliance with security rules, monitoring and alerting procedures Development and application of test procedures for server hardware and network environments to protect productive IT operations Ensuring a suitable hardware and software environment for remote data center monitoring/control through standby services Project collaboration and specialist consulting to ensure operational processes Support with error analyses and troubleshooting measures for internal / external specialists Development, deployment and maintenance of restart procedures for IT operations following outages or disasters What you bring with you Degree in computer science or a technical discipline or training in an IT environment with professional experience in the specified field of application Very good knowledge of the IT operating environment of a multi-platform data center Very good knowledge of the technical specialty areas z-Series, p-Series, i-Series, Win-Server as well as SAN, networks and storage etc.
