Partner with the best
The Material Handler will be responsible for managing inventory of raw materials and fittings at the flexible pipe systems facility in Houston. The team member will be responsible for managing the material from receipt on site through to issuing to production and or packaging and delivery.
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for:
- Loading, unloading, moving, and staging product and materials using a forklift and other power equipment.
- Receiving, checking-in and issuing materials in support of production and other departmental activities.
- Maintaining and monitor accurate written and computerized records of all transactions.
- Maintaining documented inventory and stock levels for all items held.
- Maintaining all appropriate stores equipment and perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Performing cycle counts of respective warehouses once per week.
- Providing feedback on disposition of excess inventory & slow-moving items.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a high school diploma / GED.
- Have the ability to safely operate an industrial forklift.
- Have previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution is preferred.
- Have the ability to work overtime, weekends, and 2nd or 3rd shift as required.
