[Internal Title: Lead Catalyst Marketing Professional - SEA&I]

We are seeking a Marketing Manager based in Singapore to support the SEAI (South East Asia & India) Collaborations team - Nike’s Marketing department responsible for the output of all projects involving our collaborations in fashion, design, entertainment, music, art and more. You will have the opportunity to drive progressive, creative marketing plans with our internal and external collaborators to push the boundaries of creativity and sport*.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced and talented brand marketeer with a passion for and connection to SEAI culture. They are curious, opportunists, communicators, explorers, futurists and strategic connectors.

A marketeer who is deliberate in acting as a laboratory, a testing ground to strategically push boundaries, incubate, test and learn to envisage and build new space for Nike and sport. They guide the art and science, merging with a deft hand, a confluence of creative acumen and strategic intent to create something uniquely modern. They contribute to the start of the chain reaction culturally.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will be part of the SEAI Collaborations Brand Management function, reporting directly to the APLA Collaborations Brand Management Senior Director. In this role your core duties will include creating visionary marketing concepts and narratives for the SEAI audience that push the boundaries of creativity & sport and advance the notion of sport culture in SEAI, permeating visionary citizens throughout the Globe.

You will also drive planning and execution of identified Collaboration product marketing concepts with internal stakeholders, and external collaborators. You will drive integration with NHBD and SNKRS to ensure the Collaboration product informs the NHBD and SNKRS journey.

You will gather structured and continuous visionary consumer insights to allow us to better serve Visionary members in SEAI, and to feed back to APLA/Global in order to help longer-term & seasonal concepts.

You will identify and talent scout the next generation of cultural leaders in SEAI.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work with the Collaborations Brand Management teams in SEAI, APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America) and Global.

You will work cross functionally in the Singapore office, with key partners such as NBHD and SNKRS, sports marketing, brand creative and communications, aligning on roles & responsibilities, to bring your visionary concepts to life.

And you will build strong external relationships with key collaborators in the city.

The shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You must be consistently collaborative and open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE?

Essential requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in brand management, with ideally a strong focus on cross functional marketing.
  • Prior marketing experience in SEAI and a demonstrable understanding of the Visionary consumer, the city and Nike’s position within it
  • Prior execution of cross functional brand campaigns
  • Proven experience identifying, owning and managing external relationships with thought leaders in SEAI aligned to Nike’s strategic objectives
  • A desire & willingness to adapt in an agile fashion to our Visionary consumers’ and organization's needs to deepen our relationships with members
  • Proficiency in English and one of SEA&I local languages
  • This role is not open for relocation.

Advantageous experience

  • Proven track record of marketing experience, working with or in cultural industries generating influential global outcomes.

  • Brand Management - Timely and effective delivery of Marketing Plans through extensive cross-functional collaboration
  • Visionary Mindset – Proven track record of working directly with or industries targeting the visionary consumer. Ensuring this consumer is at the forefront of all the work you do in the city to reimagine the future.
  • Cultural Acumen – Strong experience, understanding and ability to navigate the SEAI cultural landscape – with a strong lens on fashion, translating that into breakthrough Nike concepts and strategies
  • Connected to SEAI Youth Culture– Their playing field is the city. They are brand guardians who are curious, opportunists, communicators, explorers, futurists who strategically connect with the leaders of youth culture.
