Job Description

POSITION TITLE Operational Excellence Intern

Reporting to Head of Operational Excellence


MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and delivery-oriented intern to join our Operational Excellence team in the Headquarters of Europcar Mobility Group. This role will be responsible for contributing to key Operations’ improvement projects, working closely with other central functions and/or the Countries.


RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be assigned or contribute to a portfolio of projects. These could include the following types of activities:

  • Project Management and delivery: contribute to cross-functional teams to implement key improvement projects (ensuring timely and effective delivery)
  • Steering and reporting: contribute to create reports and dashboard that would help the operations to make the right decisions (project steering, performance steering, …)
  • CSRD compliance: ensure Operations complies with the Sustainability Reporting Regulations
  • Benchmark: look for best practices within our Group, conduct market research, competitor analysis and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
  • Data analysis: analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize business performance
  • Business process modeling and reengineering: contribute the definition of our operational standards, support continuous improvement of our operational models (including for ex process redesign, organization redesign, role mandates definition), ensure accuracy of our tool and process cartography
  • Change management: collaborate with stakeholders to drive organizational change and transformation initiatives
  • Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate collaboration and information sharing, contribute to all initiatives in this area

  • Internal: Other team members of the Operation & Fleet Department, Customer & Marketing teams, Legal, teams, Corporate Social Responsibility, Communication, HR, Countries
  • External: Partners, suppliers, other companies (benchmarks), consultancy / market study
Qualifications

PERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDER

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

  • A first internship in consulting, project management, continuous improvement or OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
  • MBA or Engineering degree in progress

LANGUAGES: Fluent English

LOCATION: Based in Paris, at Europcar Mobility Group HQ. Home Working possible

  • Proven interpersonal skills, with ability to mobilize a network of contributors and to interact at different levels in the organization,
  • Reliable, meeting timelines and quality requirements
  • Interest for the mobility or transportation industry
