- Coordination of the project tasks and the team, organization of regular team meetings
- Questionnaire development and organization of member surveys in religious communities
- Quantitative data analysis utilizing software programs (e.g. SPSS, Stata, R)
- Writing research articles for leading journals in environmental studies or sociology
- Organizing stakeholder workshops and public events
- Giving presentations and attending conferences
- Writing project reports
- Doctoral degree in sociology, political sciences, geography, sustainability, religious studies or similar
- Strong expertise in quantitative data analysis
- Good track record of publishing in leading academic journals
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate teams
- Excellent English language skills (C1 or higher), German or French is an advantage
- Understanding of sustainability research and/or religious studies is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, intercultural and social skills
- Willingness to relocate to Basel region
