The alliance focuses on developing and selling AI applications for oil and gas customers and deploying digital transformation teams into customer environments to work on the acceleration of complex, enterprise-AI projects for energy solutions.
BHC3 combines more than a century of energy technology and domain expertise from Baker Hughes with C3.ai’s unique AI technology. The offering for customers is a portfolio of oil and gas-specific, AI-based applications that are faster and easier for businesses to deploy and accelerate the time to value for digital investments. Partner with the best
The Region Sales Director of the Americas for BakerHughesC3.ai at Baker Hughes contributes to the growth of the Baker Hughes C3.ai joint venture alliance by identifying business opportunities with our top tier global customers for profitable market share expansion within a specific geography. Participates in activities such as contract negotiation, development of tendering strategies and key growth opportunity identification.
 
This role develops the market approach strategy & vision towards with an impact on short-medium term as well as development of new markets. Actively engages and influences business development planning & positioning of the BakerHughesC3.ai business.
 

As a Region Sales Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing a deep understanding of prospects’ business issues.
  • Being a part of a team of region sellers responsible for delivering against annual sales targets for BHC3 in a particular geography.
  • Partnering /with global key account executives to position BHC3 within top 35 Baker Hughes accounts.
  • Partnering with Baker Hughes’ product company sales executives to collaborate on tender responses that require bundled solutions.
  • Playing a lead role in the sales process when negotiation involves a strategic, high volume or financial impact to the business.
  • Leading negotiations with a client organization. Indirect leadership and influence multidisciplinary teams.
  • Being directly involved in enterprise sales projects with a total contract value of tens of million dollars of enterprise software license and services.
  • Dealing with sophisticated products requiring a thorough technical knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence and knowledge of the operational environment where the products will be used. Solutions are client specific and involve important research, customization and value selling approach.
  • Navigating complex sales processes, long-term contract conditions, indirect management of internal stakeholders.


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Have 10+ years of relevant Global Sales Leadership experience in Enterprise Software, preferably selling into the Energy / Oil & Gas sector.
  • Have a proficient understanding of selling enterprise cloud software, including SaaS and Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence solutions.
  • Be trained and proficient in solution selling.
  • Have knowledge of the external market & Oil and Gas industry trends.
