Regulatory Compliance Specialist - Home Care Products

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our client's dynamic team and contribute to ensuring the compliance of their Home Care products with European regulations. The successful candidate will focus on the regulatory landscape for chemical detergents and aerosols, air fresheners, and home accessories, in accordance with prevailing European regulations such as REACH, CLP, Detergent Regulation, Biocide Regulation, and local French regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work diligently on the compliance of Home Care products with European regulations, ensuring adherence to REACH, CLP, Detergent Regulation, Biocide Regulation, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring in France and the EU, collaborating with brand subsidiaries to stay informed about updates in Italian and Spanish regulations.
  • Actively participate in various working groups alongside client team members, representing the brand's interests in professional associations (FHER, CFA).
  • Ensure the completeness of product dossiers before market release.
  • Contribute to the documentary compliance of Product Dossiers by overseeing and conducting document audits according to applicable regulations and the client's standards.
  • Manage Safety Data Sheets and product declarations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Formulation, Marketing, Packaging, Quality, Logistics) and international teams on development projects.

Profile Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Detergent Regulation EC 648/2004
  • Additional expertise within REACh and CLP will be advantageous
  • Willingness to travel to South of Paris 2 days per week
  • Educational background within a scientific domain (chemistry, chemical engineer, Biology, Toxicology etc.)

Location:

  • Hybrid with 2 days in office on client site per week in the South of Paris

Additional Information:

  • Please not that his is an urgent requirement with a March Start Date
  • This is a 10 Month CDD with a view to a more permanent role depending on business requirements
