Job description

To attain the decarbonization goals, a rapid shift of the industrial sector towards technically efficient and cost-effective solutions integrating renewable energy sources is needed. In order to achieve this, comprehensive component and energy system design, performance assessment and optimization are required. The Research student assistants will support the research group activities in the design of experimental rigs, techno-economic and life cycle impact energy system performance assessment. The specific research tasks will be aligned with the student skills and interest. The Research student assistants are expected to work in collaboration with PhDs and researchers within the Heat and Power division.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • You should be admitted to first or second-level cycle education at a  Swedish university

Preferred qualifications

  • Student at KTH
  • Knowledge and skills in computer-aided design or energy system techno-economic modelling or life-cycle assessment or computational fluid dynamics. Accordingly, to the multiple positions not all skills are required, the tasks will be distributed based on students’ background, skills and interests.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency.
