YOUR TASKS

The applicant provides support to the occupational medicine research group with the analysis of collected data in the project 'Return to work oftransgender and gender diverse people'. The general aim is to investigate return to work experiences of trans and gender diverse people during socio-medical transition and support by healthcare professionals and corporate stakeholders. The scientific staff member plays an important role in the maintenance of the database, analysis of quantitative, qualitative data and mixed methods integration, writing of scientific articles, conceptualization of an ‘support’ tool and maintenance of the website (blogs, content) and networking.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a Master’s degree in (occupational) medicine.

Necessary:

  • The diploma requirements must be met on the date of appointment.
  • You are willing to commit for 3 months to the scientific implementation of the project and analysis and the graphic/journalistic/social media support.
  • You have experience in well-being at work, return to work and (gender) inclusion/diversity at work.
  • You can conduct (independent) scientific research with attention to methodological principles of mixed-methods research and qualitative research.
  • You are skilled in software programs for qualitative research analyzes such as Nvivo.
  • You can work independently and in a team.
  • You have good communication skills, are accurate and flexible.
  • You are proficient at scientific writing and presenting in Dutch, English and French.

Recommended:

  • You have a broad interest in psychosocial well-being and health literacy.
  • You are familiar with preparing graphic designs for social media and other advertising resources and with writing (online) content and promotional material.
  • You are open-minded and eager to learn in the areas described above.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 1/04/2024-30/06/2024.
  • Your contract will start on 1/04/2024 at the earliest.
  • Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate).  Click here for more information about our salary scales.
