MAIN PURPOSE


Within Cartier International’s Creative & Strategic Communications department and reporting to the Creative Strategy Manager, the Senior Creative Strategic Planning Project Manager contributes to the definition of the Maison’s communication strategy and development of the creative concepts and visual expressions of the campaigns.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1/ Creative Strategic Planning

  • Participation in the definition of the creative positioning and visual expressions of the brand communications, ahead of the main launches and projects of the Maison: definition of the objectives, aspirational targets, main messages and proposition of coherent visual territories.
  • Nourish and develop the creative concepts through copywriting and in-depth visual researches.
  • Participation in the elaboration of the resulting creative briefs and their presentation to the concerned internal teams (Creative Product and Corporate Content, Editorial Strategy, Copywriting, Brand Identity, Store Windows, PR and Influence, Clients Services, Events,... ) and external agencies.
  • Follow up of the creative developments of the campaigns to ensure the relevance and consistency with the positioning.
  • Formulation and conception of new products and collections names.

2/ Benchmarks & Creative prospection

  • Constant monitoring of trends in the luxury, art and communications fields to elaborate benchmark and sharing sessions with creative teams on a regular basis.
  • Proactive creative force to bring new ideas and scout complementary partners and talents.

3/ Internal collaboration

  • Proactive collaboration with all central departments to guarantee the sharing and correct understanding of the communication strategy and its creative expressions.

SKILLS


  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Communications, Arts or Marketing
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Communications, Art Direction or Digital departments in an agency or in-house, ideally in the luxury industry.
  • Excellent understanding of branding and communications: comprehension of communication and image strategies and stakes of luxury brands in particular.
  • Good analytical and deductive skills, able to set up and articulate a strategic vision and translate it into simple efficient communication concepts and ideas.
  • Curious, open-minded with an extensive knowledge in culture including all creative fields & arts.
  • Strong creative sensibility and instinctive 'eye' with the ability to carry out in-depth image research.
  • Autonomous and well-organized. Strong professional rigor and priority management.
  • Strong communication skills, at ease to evolve in large organizations and work with various profiles.
  • Experienced and at ease working in an international environment. Fluent in English.
