We are currentlyseeking a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Engineer to join our HoneywellBuilding Technology team in our Hong Kong office. Reporting to China Health, Safety andEnvironment Director, your focus will be the key point of contact within theHong Kong, and Taiwan region, and assist Business Managers and Leaders indelivering the HBS HSE Annual Operating Plan (AOP), meet law, codes andregulation compliance requirements, driving the safety and environmentalculture across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance to Honeywell corporate requirements and regional legislation
- Represent the HBS HSE Leadership team in HK and Taiwan
- Managing construction sites HSE work to meet Honeywell HSE requirements and local regulations
- Drive field and location HSE maturity improvement for HK and Taiwan
- Establish relationships and processes with the regions Business Managers to influence employees to meet HSE goals and objectives
- Work with the China HSE leadership team to identify actions required to maintain or gain HSE Certifications to OHSAS and ISO as required.
- Present HSE related training such as Safe Operations Management and Internal Auditor training
- Audit Honeywell managed facilities to ensure the Company is compliant to Honeywell processes and statutory and corporate legislation
- Complete injury / incident investigations as required
- Facilitate internal and external HSE audits across the region
- Conduct regular project/service contract reviews to increase HSE performance of the contract scope of works
- Frequent travel job site to job site in Hong Kong
- Manage safety matters for Taiwan region remotely
YOU MUST HAVE
- Certification for safety advisor
- Strong communication in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Strong safety management background in construction business
- Strong working experience of computer skills (email, PPT, excel, etc)
- Not refuse conduct activities on construction jobsite, e.g, safety inspection, audit, give on-site training, on-site support to business, etc.
