As a Group Travel Category Manager your main objective is to build a strategy and monitor associated action plan (from a strategic and tactical standpoint) on the following categories: Travel Management Compagnies (TMC), Online Booking Tools (OBT), Airlines, Rail providers, Hotels, Payment solutions, Meeting and Events
Main missions
Your responsibilities include:
· Build / refresh Travel Category Strategy covering 40+ countries with various divisions
· Coordinate and launch associated RFPs
· Contribute to Vendor Risk assessments and perform due diligences to minimize the risks and AXA’s exposure
· Coordinate legal negotiations with relevant internal SMEs and vendors
· Manage travel contracts and overall relationship with key vendors
· Coordinate all AXA division’s stakeholders and understand local needs
· Follow market trend and manage internal/external benchmarks
· Animate the Travel Community across AXA’s organization and share best market practices with internal clients
· Coordinate with AXA Travel Managers/technical teams supporting travel tools and make sure that negotiated deals are well implemented and monitored
· Monitor Group Travel Spend and associated KPIs
· Contribute to Group Sustainability strategy on managed scope
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
Experience
· Master’s degree in Procurement
· >7 years’ experience in multinational compagnies as a Travel Buyer/Category Manager
· Managed >50m€ of overall Travel Spend
Technical skills
· Travel Industry and Expenses Tools expertise
· Fluent in both French and English
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and BI/reporting tools; ability to create, maintain, and alter complex travel reports
Soft skills / transversal skills
· Leadership and Communication in a multicultural environment
· Capacity to focus on internal client needs (service oriented)
· Good listening and ability to speak functionally
· Project Management knowledge
· Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Sensitivity to Sustainability and Decarbonation initiatives
