As an Advanced Application Engineer at Honeywell in Bangkok, Thailand, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that engages in designing, developing, and integrating highly complex application functions. Your role will involve participating in the development and certification of product functionality across multiple programs, contributing significantly to new products, processes, and standards in line with Honeywell's business strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on our business unit and function results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in software coding to develop robust applications.
- Lead integration efforts to ensure seamless operation.
- Conduct thorough verification and validation of software systems.
- Oversee the certification process of software to meet industry standards.
- Implement rigorous testing procedures to ensure software quality.
- Define clear and precise requirements for software development projects.
- Provide exceptional customer support for product-related inquiries.
- Utilize model-based development for effective system design.
- Participate in reviews to ensure the quality and efficiency of our products.
- Contribute to strategy development to enhance business growth and direction.
MUST HAVE:
· A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics) from an accredited institution.
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
· Some professional experience in software or engineering is preferred.
WE VALUE:
- A deep understanding of the product lifecycle and strategies to reduce cost in product and process development.
- Experience in software, engineering, or a related field is preferable.
- Demonstrated capability in designing and developing new technologies and applications for products.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and global team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts.
- Experience supporting the technical aspects of proposals, addressing future business opportunities with OEMs.
- Capability to develop and mentor team members and junior engineers in both technical and customer interaction skills.
- Skill in balancing demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.
