Bdd/Associate Vp Business Development

Proclinical is seeking a BDD/Associate VP Business Development individual. The successful candidate will manage existing and new business opportunities in the ADME-Tox field. This includes customer management, new business generation, and direct client interaction. This customer-facing role requires a deep understanding of clients' needs and the ability to address these effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop opportunities and close deals by understanding customer's requirements, presenting and structuring a business and scientific framework.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with current or potential customers, internal Company personnel and others to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
• Manage and execute the RFI/RFP processes including interactions with both sales and technical staff.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of products and services, and their impact on customer projects.
• Drive additional revenue opportunities from within existing company relationships.
• Answer web enquiries and follow up with contacts for other potential Business Development opportunities.
• Attend Company meetings, key conferences and workshops.
• Maintain CRM (Salesforce).

Key Skills and Requirements:

• BS degree in life sciences required. Advanced degree in life sciences preferred.
• Experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry and relevant Business Development experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with a high degree of independence.
• Strong knowledge of the licensing/Business Development landscape.
• Ability to develop deal structures, write proposals and working knowledge of industry deal trends.
• Demonstrated, strong negotiating skills and ability to conduct and successfully conclude negotiations on deals.
• Ability to work well with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to travel is required.
