MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and implement regional initiative aiming to reduce lead time, achieve cost savings and optimize communication effectiveness.  Collaborate with other functions such as sales/marketing, finance, RA/QA and IT to intergrade Business Process and develop solutions
  • Coordinate quarterly budget submissions with Country Supply Chain Heads, FP&A and Regional Supply Chain Director
  • Lead monthly business review with Country Supply Chain Heads
  • Capture supply chain improvement opportunities. Lead process improvement for end to end supply chain network including customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, logistics and customer service.
  • Conduct supply chain process review and analysis from source to end customers in Asia Pacific and identify gap for improvement according to industry best practice.
  • Initiate projects once recommendations approved and drive those projects to implementations.  Monitor effectiveness of the implemented projects.  Serve as project manager of multiple initiatives through Lean, Continuous Improvement and/or other equivalent tools.
  • Support functional owners in their efforts to drive change by conducting analysis activities, facilitate change management, prepare documentation (process flows, SOPs, etc.) and conduct training.
  • Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain processes/operations; measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management
  • Design and implement training programs to ERP and other systems/applications for Asia Pacific operations teams and external parties if required
  • Lead QMS for Supply Chain and support audit activities. Establish and maintain SOPs for APAC.
  • Define vendor management and procurement strategy.
  • Prepare for Audits, Compliances & SOX, etc., Documentation

Requirements: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, a related field, or equivalent preferred
  • An advanced credential, such as an MBA, MA, or MS in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in highly regulated warehousing environment
  • Six Sigma / Equivalent Continuous Improvement knowledge
  • 3PL / Vendor / Service Provider Management experience
  • ERP usage experience / ERP-WMS interfacing experience
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
  • Proven success in improving work processes, leading change and role models positive behaviors as well as change agent skills in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results 
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization, including English communication skills
  • Business level English communication skills required.
  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable
  • Strong conflict resolution skills to achieve results through cross-functional groups
