As a member of the Electrification Business Area's marketing and communications team, you will play an active role in building a product portfolio deployment strategy to develop sales to customers mainly in industry, one of ABB's key business areas in France.You will report functionally to the Marketing Department of the Smart Power Division.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop sales of power circuit breakers/switch-disconnectors and associated digital solutions on the French market to Oems, end customers, panel builders, installers and distribution networks.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to the sales force, and set up related training programs.
  • Define and monitor the annual strategic marketing plan to guarantee results in terms of both order volume and profitability.
  • Participate in the specification or adaptation of product ranges to the needs of the French market.
  • Implement the pricing strategy on the market via several sales channels.
  • Imagine and design promotions and sales support tools: documentation, communication actions (internal and external), marketing automation, lead generation, etc.
  • Monitor competition, standards and market research.
  • Participate in training courses and promote these actions internally.

Your background

  • At least 2 years' higher education in electrical engineering: Engineer, or other training, with extensive experience in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in Product Marketing.
  • Good experience of the French market in the specified fields.
  • Fluency in French and English essential; exchanges with Italian and Finnish factories.
  • Travel required: mainly in France, 20% of working time.
  • Taste for teamwork, creativity, decision-making ability, initiative, autonomy, determination.
  • Ability to synthesize, analyze and make proposals.
  • Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
