Within the PRODUCTS Business Services department, the “Global Solutions” team is composed of 3 domains :

  • “R&D | Quality”,
  • “Upstream”,
  • “Downstream”.

We are looking for a Domain Manager for the "Downstream" Domain.

The Downstream domain’s scope covers Equipment & Spares (E&S), Transport & Distribution (T&D), International Distribution Center (IDC)

This size of thIS Team is about 5 bMx employees and 8 contractors

  

The primary purpose of this role is to translate bioMérieux tactical and strategic objectives into workable capabilities and solutions. Manage and develop his/her team to deliver IS services which can be technical and/or functional on solutions portfolio of this domain.

This role is based on 3 pilars :

  • Resources management
  • Staffing management & Service Delivery
  • Relationship management

 

What will be your mission ?

Resources management

  • Take decisions and drive his/her team behind a common vision, aligned with corporate tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and maintain soft-skills in respect of Corporate HR guidance.
    Manage hard-skills team capacity along with operational priorities.
  • Coach and develop his/her team capacity among with operational priorities.
  • Foster team spirit by energizing people & organization. Local / Country team dimension

Staffing management & Service Delivery

  • Accountable for delivering services which fit with internal customer expectations.
  • Provide the right level of competencies to secure expected deliverables.
  • Contribute for building and executing the budget of his/her domain to maintain services in operational condition.
  • Be a facilitator for continuous improvement

Relationship management

  • Work regularly with BPO (Business Process Owner) or equivalent
  • Develop a trusted working environment
  • Manage contract vendors for his/her scope : contracts execution, performance & financial follow-up and manage contract review meetings.
  • Be an active member of transversal communities. Facilitate complementary relation with others IS Domain and Portfolio Managers.
  • Report and/or escalate operational feedback to IS leadership team.

Scope and Resources Accountability

  • Recruits and selects talents from diverse backgrounds whose match the needs of the function and/or technical services.
  • Promotes a broad understanding of IS roles, responsibilities, and capabilities across the company.
  • Manages service review meetings to review IS performance, improvements, quality and processes.
  • Dares to establish strategy, processes and guidelines for improving internal customer relationships.
  • Key point of contact within the IS Community to serve related internal customer project, status, cost, and deliverables.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Service Performance in line with internal customer expectations. Contribute to the relationship with internal customer and IT roadmap. Keeps team members up-to-date on market trends, new product development, corporate performance.
  • Key Contacts (internal/external) and Interfaces: BPO, Portfolio Managers, Financial Controlling, Vendors, Partners.

 

 Who are you?

 

  • Post-graduate degree or coursework may be expected with > 6 years of industry experience or equivalent experience.
  • Supply Chain process knowledge – on SAP as an extra.
  • Experience in world wide support models with indirect team management & industrialized managed service model with offshore partners.
  • No specific confirmed experience on team management.
  • Soft skills: Facilitator, good communicator, capacity to act with courage, capable of showing emotional intelligence.
  • You work in English, with a real team spirit mindset, with colleagues based in other countries (US, ASPAC).
