At AXA Health, our customer's journey begins in Distribution. We’re responsible for more than 1 million members at new business and renewal. Our teams expertly guide businesses large and small, from 2 employees to 10,000 through our products and processes so they can protect themselves and their families. We’re recruiting for an Account Manager to join our SME Retention Team. As an Account Manager, you'll be maintaining and growing the relationship between AXA Health and our customers.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. Following the face to face training period, you'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at our Leicester office. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for retaining an existing portfolio of business and building strong relationships with our SME clients or brokers on the telephone.
  • Develop relationships with our internal and external customers by providing an efficient and reliable service across all communication channels.
  • Establishing your clients’ needs and handling objections in order to secure renewal of an existing PMI scheme. You will also be proactively identifying expansion opportunities and selling the features and benefits of PMI.
  • Provide a professional service to all our customers, ensuring queries or complaints raised are handled, monitored and recorded using the agreed process and systems.

Your Profile

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous phone-based experience is essential.
  • Demonstrable account management experience.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Able to work to targets. Self-motivated and eager to work in this challenging and exciting environment.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
