Join our Decoking - Manufacturing and Maintenance team.
Quest Integrity Decoking Manufacturing and Maintenance team supports globally within the company to deliver, maintain and supporting our Decoking Unit fleet. As an Electrical Software Engineer you will responsible for, maintaining and supporting our existing PLC systems such as those present on our machinery (pigging units). Also creating new PLC software programs for development and new systems.

As an Electrical Software Engineer you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. As a small team we are flexible towards working and consulting with Quest integrity employees that work in different fields related to PLC programming, such as CAD, electrical and mechanical, for the realization of new designs, upgrades, and retrofits for Quest Integrity equipment.
As Electrical Software Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Executing with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test and/or integration required to define, and support assigned components, assemblies, or systems.
- Meeting business standards and program / product requirements
- Preparing and presenting technical data to internal and external customers
- Documenting and communicating results of technical data generated
- Preparing invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business
- Assuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Maintaining and Supporting of existing PLC systems as present in our machinery
- Remote regional support with trouble shooting with their PLC systems.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering, IT, scientific or other technical position)
- Have professional proficiency in English and Dutch
- Have knowledge of PLC software
