About the Hilton Tahiti Resort
The Hilton Tahiti Resort, a recent expansion to Papeete's beachfront lodging options, welcomed guests again in Fall 2021 after a comprehensive renovation. Renowned for its modern architecture that reflects the island's rich cultural heritage, the resort presents an array of culinary experiences and excursions to immerse guests in the beauty and traditions of Tahitian life.

What will I be doing?
As the General Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily hotel operations and providing overall leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including, but not limited to hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, leading service initiatives, leading and managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards
  • Oversee sales and marketing initiatives, lead and develop the executive team, respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns and hotel-wide meeting participation and facilitation
  • Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads, to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurements
  • Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficiencies
  • Serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities

What are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years hotel General Manager experience managing a property with $20M or greater in revenue
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Experience managing resort properties
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience overseeing Food and Beverage operations, with a proven track record of success in innovating F&B services to enhance quality and standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in driving revenue


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to build and maintain successful ownership relationships and partnerships
  • Successful in managing and maintaining Union partnerships
  • Performance driven, with strong leadership capability and proven ability to attract, motivate, lead, inspire and direct a talented team towards driving excellent guest and employee satisfaction results
  • Acute attention to detail and a high level of commitment to delivering high quality standards
  • Remote location experience
  • Hilton brand experience
