At AXA XL we help them create a comprehensive overview of the risks they’re facing, with details on exposures and constraints they might encounter locally. We're there to identify how these risks fit into their corporate risk management strategy and support them to determine and prioritise investments needed to control these risks.
As a Risk Consultant, you will conduct Loss Prevention Surveys at client premises across various sizes and occupancies to establish location risk quality ratings, loss estimates and develop risk improvement recommendations according to existing standards. In addition to this, you will work closely with both clients and Account Consultants to help them understand and improve their risk.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
· Efficiently conduct Loss Prevention Surveys at client’s premises of all sizes and occupancies.
· Interact with clients on a local facility level as well as with Risk Managers and Brokers.
· Be responsible for risk improvement by clients through proactive recommendation monitoring.
· Handle large and medium size project reviews.
· Collaborate with all Risk Consulting Lines of Business (LoBs).
· Office based
You will report to the UK Team Leader.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
· Engineering or Science based undergraduate degree is highly desirable.
· Previous experience of working in risk consulting is beneficial.
· Excellent working knowledge of fire protection or willingness to learn.
· Understanding of property risk and fire protection standards, NFPA codes, FM data sheets or a willingness to learn.
· Effective organizational skills with the ability to schedule work efficiently within the available time frame.
· Driving licence is essential.
