As a Quality Manager, will coordinates the resources and activities related to the Quality team and assure compliance with Company specifications and requirements in support of operational fulfilment and customer requirements.
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the primary focal point within the Subsea Projects & Services, Angola on all quality issues.
- Be responsible for the site Quality Management System & Continuous improvement activities with support from the Site Quality Engineer.
- Set and achieve goals that are compatible with the business goals of the organization.
- Drive the implementation of Risk Management and Opportunities in the business.
- Engaging with the site leadership, Order to remittance (OTR) and Shop Operations teams to identify priorities for the Quality team
- Coordinate the site quality team on all business revenue drive initiatives.
- Assigning tasks and duties to the Quality personnel
- Leading process improvement project initiatives; negotiate and work with external vendors on process improvement initiatives as required.
- Identifying non-conforming product, applying tagging / labelling, reporting via the Non-Conformance Management (NCM) system, and ensuring controls are in place to prevent inadvertent use.
- Acting as focal point for cost of poor quality (COPQ), in conjunction with the finance function collate and report COPQ metrics, identify and drive actions to reduce the impact of COPQ on the business.
- Adherence to and compliance with company and regulatory HSE, Quality management system requirements at all times.
- Drive the site Quality Management Review. Collate relevant materials and metrics, which reflect the effectiveness of the Quality management system for inclusion in the Management Review.
- Carryout any other special responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Quality Leader
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- At least 7years of experience in Quality Management systems or operational leadership – significant experience and proven ability in policy and procedure writing
- Certified Quality System auditor
- Able to make senior level presentations.
- Have a good understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with relevant company and industry standards
- Detailed knowledge of requirements associated with the control of monitoring and measuring devices.
- Experienced and familiar with the requirements of formal Quality Management Systems and standards, such as ISO 9001:2015 and API Q2
- Proven ability to train and effectively influence change.
- Be able to ensure all customer reports are issued and resolved in a timely fashion.
- Have following certifications is a big plus:
NDE/Welding certification
QMS -ISO 9001/API Q2
RCA / CAPA leadership
CoPQ management
