- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with third-party entities, with a primary focus on establishing and growing relationships with fleet car companies and insurance providers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential third-party partners, including fleet car companies and insurance providers, to foster collaboration and drive mutual success. While being the conduit to our internal Service teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services and solutions for our partners.
- Explore and establish partnerships with insurance companies to offer value-added services, ensuring alignment with the needs of our customers.
- Work closely with the insurance sector to create tailored solutions and mutually beneficial programs.
- Lead and oversee strategic projects aimed at internal growth, process improvements, and system enhancements across Service, Body Repair, and Warehousing.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Assess and analyze current systems and processes within Service, Body Repair, and Warehousing to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams to implement efficiency-enhancing solutions, streamlining operations, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Business Development, internal system enhancements, and project management.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Demande
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, preferably in the automotive service sector or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of fleet management, logistics, insurance, and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive internal process improvements and system enhancements.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development targets.
- Ability for frequent travel across Australia and New Zealand.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling, with consideration for operational contexts
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including those located in Australia and New Zealand.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate challenges specific to the automotive markets in both countries.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on demand despite changes in work scope or focus
- Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box for solutions to complex challenges
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a passion for being hands-on in their work
